As it turns out, the giant bug that has been sabotaging Slim's Halloween story was the recurring character of Rob, the Computer Bug. Due to the actions of the Computer Bug, Slim had some harsh words to say as he departed.
Sorry, for the late posting today. For reasons that escape me, the post wasn't even in the system when I checked to see why there was no update. Looks like the Computer Bug struck again!
