Leaps and Bounds
Undaunted by the size disparity, the cat brings to life the old adage “The best defense is a good offense”.
Today’s web page bonus image is another oldie. This was done several years ago as a background images. If I recall, this one took a lot more time that I anticipated because I was trying things that I had not previously attempted (lots of layers and gradients). I got a little tangled up with the Cadillac and eventually drew it separately and pasted it over that mess that I made.

I hope he sticks the landing!
Neat picture. An old Hollywood opening?
H Stacy
Sticking the landing is imperative in this instance.
Yes, that picture is suppose to depict a big event a Grauman’s Chinese Theater. If I remember correctly, Snafu attended with a Flying Monkey.

Nice study of a cat’s pounce, H!
And that bonus picture is fantastic! Those layers are masterfully done!
H Stacy
Thanks RG! The internet is overflowing with great examples of cat pounces. I just had to pick a couple of good examples.
The bonus picture had a ton of layers (too many?). There were two pages worth of layers before I flattened it. …and that doesn’t count the car.

Lots of claws!
Tony McGurk
If those claws penetrate the airship it’s gunna go off with one heck of a bang
Nice work on the oldie too
H Stacy
Yep, if those claws connect with the FluggerSlinky, its “POP goes the Weasel”! I am pretty sure that’s what everyone is expecting.
Thanks for the comment on the oldie! Much appreciated.
Jack of Gulls Comic
The Feline… way more scary than the Manhattan Project.
