Pesky Gremlins Comic 377 – Theme Song

Pesky Gremlins Theme Song

Not so long ago, I was approached by my friend and long time Pesky Gremlins supporter, Dan Gibson with the idea of doing a Pesky Gremlins Theme Song.  His idea was to write a Pesky Gremlins song something like you might see and hear from the old Saturday morning cartoons.  A tune akin to “Scooby Dooby Do Where are You.”  Of course, I quickly agreed.  I am no expert on webcomics, but I was fairly certain that most webcomics don’t have a theme song.

Dan proceeded to write and rewrite the tune while giving me periodic updates.  Once the song was written, Dan put together a little recording studio in his home where he laid down all the tracks, performed the vocals, and mixed it all together.  I know nothing about music and found the whole process astonishing.  After the song was finished, Dan told me with a sly grin that I could not hear it until the video he was working on was completed.  Video?

I finally got to see and hear the whole thing last Friday and it was great!

And now, you can hear it too — the new Pesky Gremlins Theme Song (click the link above)
