Unintentionally Funny
Fubar, the most earnest and naïve of the group, misinterprets Lucas’ call to action and doesn’t even realize what he has done.
Today’s web page bonus image is sort of a work-in-progress piece. As regular readers know, the gremlins live in a garage with an old Corvette and Jaguar. Thus, I am always in need of more old Corvette and Jaguar background images. Usually, I only have to show one or the other of these two cars. However, there are times when I use a wider view and need both. That is usually the time that I need to draw a new one. Over the years, I have accumulated quite a few Corvette and Jaguar illustrations but rarely do they look right when I try and stick two of them together for a wider view. That’s where this one is coming from. A couple of days ago, I had a scene with both the Corvette and Jaguar in it. The Corvette was an older image but I had to draw this Jaguar to finish out the scene. It was quickly drawn and only partially painted for the scene. So, here is the line drawing without the hack paint job. When I get some free time, I will paint it in the usual manner.
If I had few more line drawings like this, I would have the start of a coloring book.

Perhaps the Gremlins could sabotage the Vette or Jag in a way that Elmo could figure out easier than normal to give him a feeling of accomplishment.
That’s a super Jag drawing! You do technical drawings so well!

Elmo doesn’t seem to have time to spend on his old Corvette or Jaguar. The gremlins need to find something that he just can’t ignore.
Thanks. I like the technical drawings because I KNOW what the subject is supposed to look like. I also have to give credit to the computer for the nice clean lines.

Ha, they will think of something!

Lucas has already thought of it. 🙂

Great looking face of innocence and naivety in the second panel!
Amazing mechanical drawing skills, man!
