I prefer white socks, why? because there are easy to match in pairs when they come out of the dryer. Pattern socks are a pain and dark colored socks are a nightmare. If the lighting is funny it’s hard to tell the colors apart. And anyone who buys solid color socks in various shade of the same basic color is just a masochist.

White socks are easier to match in pairs IF they come out of the dryer in pairs. My white socks frequently come out in odd numbers.
