Today’s web page bonus image is another “oldie”. This is one of the biplanes from Fubar’s first box fantasy back in 2017. This is a Rumpler observation plane. The name “Rumpler” still makes Fubar giggle.

Rumpler (snicker) was the name of the company that build that aircraft. And they really did paint them green and purple.

There IS a LOT of electronic test equipment there. …Another huge investment of time to draw all of that, but it was enjoyable. Although, that is two strips in a row where I just about missed my deadline.
As I mentioned above, Rumpler (snicker, laugh) was just the name of the firm that built the airplane. 100 years ago, the name probably wasn’t nearly as humorous.
