Evasive Maneuvers
A new character steps into the cartoon strip at a most inopportune moment and is very nearly hit by Elmo who is distracted by a dive-bombing grackle.
Grackles, bleah!

A near miss and a direct hit all in one!

Yep, sort of a matter of perspective.

Yep! Everytime I look at it! Hooaaaaaaaaah Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! ? ? ? ?

Glad that you liked it RG. Maybe I should have armadillos in the strip more often. 🙂

Barbecue armadillo is a Texas road kill specialty. It’s delicious, although it comes with a bad case of the south of the border “runs”. Great for weight control because you will lose pounds no matter how much you eat. 🙂 I always like to share these little discussed facts of Texas cuisine.
H Stacy
You left out the part that the road kill armadillos are often over cooked due to the road being so hot and to be wary of the armadillo’s natural enemy, the 18 wheeler.
David Hurley
That was for the birds! 😉
H Stacy
That could be said for this whole storyline 🙂
Julian
Awesome. Pure awesome 🙂
H Stacy
Thanks Julian! I just couldn’t resist that pun.

It’s good for the armor.
H Stacy
That it is. Armadillo armor is notoriously unreliable and does not stand up to the smallest of cars.

I love pup in those goggles! And fowl language…I see what you did there! 🙂
H Stacy
I have since learned that the goggles that a dog wears are called “doggles” (really!).
And I have a hard time resisting bad puns like “fowl language” and “doggles”
