The image above is the iconic 1959 Cadillac that I assume Bruce was singing about in his song “Cadillac Ranch”. This cartoon Caddy showed up last Summer being driven by a dinosaur. Here a link to that cartoon: Cadillac Ranch
Below is a 1940 Cadillac Limo that showed up in the background of Graumans Chinese Theater during the Wizard of Oz story.
Finally, here is the one and only Al Capone armored 1930 Cadillac. This one was done for Bret Juliano’s Dust Bunny Mafia strip.

The 59 Caddy is a beauty. The 30’s Cadillacs are very elegant and impressive, especially the V-16 ones.

I am always impressed when I see a ’59 Cadillac. All of that chrome and those fins! But something that big would never fit in my modest garage.

Masterfully rendered.

Thanks J.P.! The 59 was a bit of a stretch for me.

Yep! When I was a kid here in the south, the Cadillac was a definite status symbol.

I think the old Caddy’s may be even more of status symbol now. I was surprised to see how much a restored ’59 goes for!
