Pesky Gremlins Comic 357 – Working on the Railroad

Working on the Railroad

There is absolutely no reason to believe that gremlins confine there efforts to just airplanes, cars, and computers.  Trains are on the list, too.   This cartoon is also a bit of a rerun.  Like the previous one, it was never a featured cartoon and was in an obscure corner of the the Pesky Gremlins website.  However, I only used the locomotive ink from the original cartoon. The color, gremlins, and background are all new!

Also, the winner of the “Name the Little Dog Contest”

Congratulations, Aaron!  You came up with the winning name.  I would like to thanks all of the other people who took the time to enter this little contest.  I had a tough time picking the winner.  There were lots of good suggestions.

  1. Leaping Lionel Train Tracks that’s a beauty. 🙂

    1. Thanks J.P.! I have always liked the old “war bonnet” Santa Fe engines and this was a good excuse to draw one.

  2. That’s a great picture of a train. I want to go for a ride!

    1. Thanks Peter! But you probably don’t want to ride on that train.

  3. Fantastic drawing! Your mechanical illustration is the bomb, man!

That contest was a lot of fun! Yeah, Sprocket is the best name. 😉

    1. Thanks RG. That train came out better than I expected. Also, happy to hear that you enjoyed the contest!

    1. Thank you, David. The choo-choo came out nicely for the hour it took to color it.
