Optics of the Beholder
If beauty really is in the eye of the beholder, Siri might need to run a diagnostic on her optical sensors.
Today’s web page bonus image is another computer image that appeared with Buster the computer gremlin a few years back. This is from back when computers cost millions of dollars and occupied acres of space. Can anyone identify it?
The image is a little sloppy because, as usual, I was in a hurry AND I planned to crop and shrink it. Looking at the picture, its easy to see where I planned to crop it. FYI: The computer is an IBM 702 mainframe from the 1950’s.

I wonder if Siri could fall in love with an Android?
It’s easy to see where many of the SF shows and movies got their ideas of what a computer looked like. Pretty amazing machines for their time, though.

I suppose Siri could fall in love with an Android. But without Lucas’ hacks, it would be a one-way relationship.
The original Star Trek is an example of that. Lots of blinking lights and odd clicking noises. Glad that my PC doesn’t sound like that.

Seems like this might be good for Elmo…
Excellent bonus pic, man!

Surprisingly, things DO seem to be going well. Is Lucas’ plan working and he doesn’t even know about it?

Now that’s a hearty smile!

LOL! Very well put.

Aw, Elmo deserves some love!

Yes, Elmo could use a little love but are Siri and Elmo compatible?
