What’s in a Name
Our “Name the Cat” contest has concluded. First, I would like to thank all of you who took the time to submit a cat name entry. With so many good names to choose from, picking just one was difficult. In the end, one name stood out from the rest and that name was “Trouble”. The winning entry was submitted by James McEntee and he will receive the 5000 cent prize (not paid in pennies!) along with a Pesky Gremlins print of his choosing.
Once again, thank all of you who entered!

Maybe Trouble was driving that car. Isn’t it the one that crashed and burned during testing or qualifying?

Trouble wasn’t driving that car, but yes that is the car that crashed during testing. There are quite a few pictures of it sitting upside down in the infield on the internet. I strongly suspect gremlins were involved…

Now that is a good name!
H Stacy
Yep, Trouble is the perfect name! I am so glad that I didn’t try and name the cat myself.

Bet Trouble has a great purr box!
H Stacy
Yes, Trouble is quite the purr-er

Trouble is already master of the innocent look.
H Stacy
A look that will server Trouble well!

A simple name but very precise & accurate portrayal of the cat.
Daedrax the Eater of Souls kinda grabbed my attention but I think that applied more to the cat my parents used to have

I think that “Trouble” fit this particular cat purr-fectly. I also really like “Daedrax the Eater of Souls” but was a little intimidated by the length of the name. That name itself would almost fill my typical speech balloon.
