The gremlins really hate it when they don’t get rendered in full color. Maybe next time, I’ll leave them with some colored pencils.

Never ask a question like that!

Being gremlins, they should know better than to ask questions like that, ESPECIALLY in the 3rd panel!

Take the opportunity! You could write your own adventure!

That sounds like a great idea for a future story line!

I actually use two pencils; a Sanford 6H followed by a Zebra M-301 mechanical loaded with 5mm hb leads. And of course the big jumbo ACADEMIX eraser for the inevitable mistakes. All this came to mind when I saw your incredibly well rendered drawing pencil breaking the 4th wall.

Thanks RG! Just for the record, I haven’t even seen a Laddie pencil since I was grade school (LONGGGGG Ago).
From a technical standpoint, the “pencil” drawings that I did for this strip are not my actual pencil rough sketches. My rough sketches are a little too rough to just post. The “pencils”, not counting the Laddie illustration, were blue lined sketches that were “inked” with a standard number 2 pencil.

I wondered what a Laddie was. Wasn’t sure it was real or not.
