That is true and most of the time, ovens go unused. The only trouble with this situation is trusting the gremlin!

I rarely used my oven when I was a single bloke. Just didn’t wanna have to clean it so most meat went in a frypan or on the grill.

That is why hiding a turkey in a bachelor’s oven makes sense. When I was single, I don’t think that I ever used my oven.
