Duck
Shouting out the word “duck” usually denotes a coming danger but sometimes refers to the water fowl. It is extremely rare when in covers both.

Millions of dollars have been spent on aviation bird strike research. Yet there is little written in the literature pertaining to a mallard / gremlin suited character encounter, so we thank you for expanding our knowledge base. And it’s fortunate that this strike was from a duck, because I have heard that a goose is much more painful.

Bird strikes are an unsung occupational hazard each gremlins must “face”

That was as random as a flying monkey and just as funny! 😀

Nikko, the flying monkey, ALMOST made an appearance in the third panel instead of the mallard.

I think your Duck from “Don’t Pick the Flowers” would have been much better equipped to handle the stormy flying conditions. He had a leather flight helmet and goggles!
