Wow, that is a lot of planes! A lot of wonderful drawings there. That must represent a great deal of time. The old bi-wings and tr-wings still have a lot of appeal. I recall something about the hexagon camouflage one–that it is a pattern they tried at the time, yet it looks very contemporary.
Thanks Binky! There were a lot of WWI aircraft drawings done for those strips. There are quite a few more biplanes and triplanes that were not included in this gallery. The hexogonal camouflage does look more like something that came out of the 70s than from World War I.
