Pesky Gremlins Comic 782 – Linear

Linear

Today’s plot line could not possibly be any more linear.

Inspiration for today’s comic inspiration comes from a comment @mntstguy on Twitter made concerning one of the gremlins pulling on a loose thread.   Ultimately, a gremlin didn’t even need to tug on the loose thread.  He just had to follow it to its logical end.   Thanks C.H. (aka @mntstguy)!

  1. Especially ones that are so obvious.

    1. Not even a hint of a plot twist or turn!

  2. But aren’t comics very linear, anyway? Not straight lines, but linear, none the less? 😉

    1. I always viewed multi-panel comics strips as more angular. While the first several panels do lead the reader in a straight plot line, the last panel (with the gag) sends the reader off in a completely different direction.

Maybe that is why Lucas is disappointed with my efforts, today?

    1. There is always another plot line just around the corner. Hey, that could be the next plot line!

  4. Lucky he didn’t trip on it Howard or you’d likely get sued for personal injury.

    1. You’re right. It’s a good thing that Fubar isn’t around for this one!
