The Winner Is…
The Home Owners Association selects the winner of the hotly contested “Figgy Pudding” neighborhood Christmas decorating contest.
Well, that will be the last Pesky Gremlins for 2019. On this little tale, I ran out of time before I ran out of story. I had (what I thought) was a great battle of the giant inflatable monsters, but just plain did not have the time to do it. Those first couple of monsters took me a LONG time to draw and color. I would also need the neighborhood from various perspectives and drawing any kind of building also takes a long time. Maybe next year?

The gremlins will be back in January of 2020. Rumor has it that Fubar has been given another mission with the Royal Flying Corps (biplanes!)

Just now actually read the commentary. Maybe work a little bit on next year’s Christmas special a little bit at a time throughout the year? That’s give you the added benefit of having a buffer for the holidays, and give yourself a break.

Excellent advice. That is what I have been doing for the October Halloween specials. To be honest, I had not planned to bring back Christmas Godzilla. I was convinced by another reader to bring him back but that was pretty late in the year. So I was behind before I even started. I also had lots of new story ideas while drawing this. ANYWAY, Christmas Godzilla and Mr Snootie will most likely be back next Christmas AND I will be better prepared. Thanks!
