Now the only problem is that the previous owner of that coat may miss it, or they are high on the TSA antiterrorist watch list as “the orange coated bomber”, or they are a notorious ladies bottom pincher called “the orange claw”.

If Snafu keeps doing good deeds, will he be able to stay in the Gremiln’s Union?

An excellent point. Snafu would quickly point out that his “good deeds” generally have a victim. Was he helping the puppy or thwarting the scary dog catcher? Also, while Elmo does indeed have a coat, somewhere at that airport a rather large individual is shivering.
At least that’s the way Snafu would explain it to the Gremlin’s Union Ethics Committee.
