Pesky Gremlins Comic 780 – DIY

DIY

Sometimes, Doing It Yourself is simply not the right answer.   If one lacks the necessary skills, like Snafu, then leaving the work to someone better prepared is definitely the right choice.  Of course, our resident know-it-all, Lucas,  takes great pleasure in pointing this out to Snafu.

…and Kudos to all of the artists that Lucas mentions and the many more who I simply did not have room to add for taking the time to put out a comic strip to make us smile!

  1. This is one of those “which names doesn’t belong on the list” games, isn’t it?

    1. Not at all. Just a short list of some of those that can draw better than Snafu. This list is actually quite a bit longer but we ran out of room in the dialogue balloon.

  2. Wow…. I think Snafu actually gremlinized himself… 😲

    1. Gremlinized? I like that term and it does seem to cover what he did to himself. Just image what kind of gremliization job he would have done if he had gotten into the ink!

  3. Snafu just needs a little help from H Stacy!

    1. Snafu is still miffed about the tie-dye and wouldn’t wait for me to draw him this time.

Just as an aside, for this cartoon, I drew Snafu with my left hand (I am right handed). The first couple of attempts to draw Snafu were truly awful!

      1. Thank you for the mention (I am a big fan of you and everyone mentioned too)!

        1. You are most welcome, David. I have been a fan of you strip, Don’t Pick the Flowers, for a long time now. I especially like your character Duck.

      2. You’re a better artist left-handed than most of us are using our normal hand.

        1. Ha ha! You didn’t see the first couple of attempts to draw Snafu with my left hand!

  4. Jack of Gulls Comic

Jack Kent!? That’s me! Oh, THAT Jack Kent.

    1. Yes, That is THE Jack Kent Lucas is talking about.

  5. Self drawn is not recommended

    1. Yes, That would be especially true for Snafu.
